Donation & Refund Policy

Malalai Foundation is a Delaware-registered nonprofit organization. Donations support our charitable mission and ongoing work. The Foundation’s fundraising efforts are sponsored by the Outside America Foundation (Tax ID 93-3587690), a Tennessee-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to causes of freedom and justice around the world. Donations to the Malalai Foundation may be tax-deductible in the United States under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code by virtue of the Outside America Foundation sponsorship.

Donations
• All donations are voluntary
• Donations support the Malalai Foundation’s ongoing charitable mission

Tax acknowledgment
For U.S. donors, donation confirmations from the Outside America Foundation may serve as a charitable contribution acknowledgment for tax purposes. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations.

Refunds
As a general rule, donations are non-refundable.

Refund requests may be considered only in limited circumstances, such as:

• A clear processing error
• An accidental duplicate donation

Refunds are not guaranteed and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Refund process
If a refund is approved:
• It will be processed through the original payment method
• Refunds are handled via the payment provider (e.g. Stripe or PayPal)
• Processing times depend on the payment provider and financial institution

Chargebacks and disputes
We encourage donors to contact us directly with any questions or concerns before initiating a chargeback or dispute with their bank or card provider.
